My Story……

Hello, my name is Tiffany, founder of Herbal Rutz, and I’m honored that you are investing your time to learn more about my wellness journey.

After experiencing a lengthy reproductive health issue “FIBROIDS”, which caused several other health concerns (3 strokes, 2 blood transfusions and suffering from Anaphylaxis meaning being paralyzed from the chest down for 30 minutes from an allergic reaction to Benadryl) and ending with emergency hysterectomy surgery, I decided to take a serious approach with what I put in and on my body. This experience passionately encouraged me to educate myself on the needs of the body and take a closer look at my skin which is our first line of defense against toxins, radiation and harmful pollutants.

I initially started out with making natural soap which exposed me to experimenting with several botanicals, essential oils, 100% natural products and much more. I was so intrigued by the soap making process that I was making tons and tons of soap per day. Then I graduated to experimenting with herbal blends and now I’m juicing. I love how my body immediately responds to the properties of herbs and natural products.

During my wellness journey, my family and I have adopted a holistic lifestyle and encourage others to join us as we are listening to our bodies, continuously educating ourselves about the power & uses of herbs and enjoying life abundantly.

HERBAL ELEMENTS

Herbal Blends is a mixture of two or more herbs, flowers, spices, seeds, or other botanical ingredients combined for a specific purpose, such as to enhance flavor, create a particular aroma, or to achieve synergistic health benefits that are greater than those from individual ingredients. These blends are used in various forms, like teas, powders, capsules, or tinctures and are popular as natural alternatives for relaxation, immune support, and general wellness.

Tea – Made by adding herbs to hot water, tea is one of the simplest herbal preparations.

Decoction – A very strong herbal tea made by reducing the “tea” often by as much as half its original volume to concentrate the medicinal constituents.

Poultice – Herbs are finely chopped or pulverized completely before topical application.

Tinctures are concentrated herbal extracts made by soaking the bark, berries, leaves (dried or fresh), or roots from one or more plants in alcohol or vinegar.
Bitters
are liquid extracts of bitter herbs, spices, and roots, typically steeped in alcohol, that serve as digestive aids and cocktail ingredients. They work by stimulating the production of digestive juices and enzymes in the mouth, stomach, and intestines, which enhances digestion and nutrient absorption.

Intermittent Fasting is an eating pattern that involves alternating periods of fasting and eating. It is not a specific diet, but rather a framework for regulating meal timing.

Infused Oil – Dried herbs are infused into a carrier oil, which can be used internally or externally.  It’s most commonly applied topically or used to make herbal soaps, salves, or cosmetics.

Herbal Glycerite – Similar to a tincture, a glycerite uses vegetable glycerine instead of alcohol to create a herbal extract.  They’re mostly used in children or individuals avoiding alcohol.

  • Starting a wellness journey begins with setting clear, achievable goals based on your health and wellness needs.
